Super Southside Kick Off (held January 29, 2012)

The energy surrounding the most exciting week of football began here! Guests of the event were able to participate in all-things football. Super fans? Super fast? Super fun? It was all here! The Kick-off Celebration was for all ages, from the very young to the young at heart. The younger children enjoyed the indoor play equipment, had their faces painted, and created football necklaces and craft projects. The older ones were able to play games, participate in mini-combines, and show their spirit at the cheerleading clinics. Special events included a Super Tailgate Party, Ultimate Madden NFL Video Game Challenge, Punt-Pass-Kick clinic, Cheerleading Clinic, Super Food Vendors, and the Super Cure Booth.

Special thanks to the Baxter YMCA for hosting the Super Southside Kick-off Event!

A huge thank you goes out to the volunteers that helped make this event a success!

Additional thanks to Game Stop, Bardach Trophies and Aaron's Rental for making our Madden NFL Challenge possible! Perfect 10 Gymnastics and Cheer for leading the Cheer Clinics, Sams Club for providing food and beverages to the volunteers, and all of our Super Sponsors.

Even more thanks to our Super Food Vendors: Moe's Southwest Grill, Incredible Pizza Company, Not Just Popcorn, BW3's, Krispy Krunchy Chicken, Soft Serve Equipment and Sales, Monarch Beverage, Oberweis, and McAlister's Deli.

Super Kids, Super Welcome

Elementary school-aged kids across Indiana were asked to help with the Super Bowl project called, "Super Kids, Super Welcome!" by completing coloring cards to be placed in visitor hotel rooms.  The Super Bowl Host Committee has collected over 39,000 kids' cards that will be distributed to hotels across Central Indiana.  Greenwood area children created over 2000 cards alone! Thank you kids for all of your support!
